Our Story

Owner of Reddin Construction, Danny Reddin first developed his passion for carpentry and woodwork in his hometown of Portlaoise in central Ireland. In 2004, he embarked on a rigorous, years-long apprenticeship and coursework in carpentry and joinery, completing several phases of hands-on training and classroom study to earn his qualification. Then in 2009, the housing crisis forced Danny to emigrate to Boston in search of better opportunities. There, he worked with high-end builders, learning from skilled craftsmen whom he met while playing Gaelic football. This experience intensified his love for woodworking and strengthened his commitment to quality craftsmanship.

About six years later, Danny met his wife, Allie, a talented architect and designer, on St. Patrick's Day. Their connection led him to relocate to Savannah, Georgia, where he launched Reddin Construction in 2017. Reddin Construction is a small construction company focused on quality craftsmanship and high-end custom woodwork. Designed to stay small, it specializes in custom, bespoke, and heavily designed projects. As an owner-operator, Danny emphasizes a standard of quality, prioritizing skill and craftsmanship over quantity and numbers. Today, he feels fortunate to have built both a thriving business and a beautiful family. He and Allie are proud parents of two young boys who enthusiastically showcase their inherited design and construction skills with wooden blocks, Legos, and magnet tiles.
